Shadow of the Eternals Unlikely To Be Completed If Kickstarter Fails

Shadow of the Eternals, the spiritual successor to GameCube classic Eternal Darkness, faces an uncertain future. During an ask me anything on reddit, Precursor Games executive Shawn Jackson was asked whether or not we could see Shadow of the Eternals come out even if the Kickstarter didn’t reach the goal. With only 18 days of its crowdfunding campaign remaining, just $271,879 of Precursor's ambitious $1.5 million target has been raised.

Precursor exec Shawn Jackson said:
"Since we do not have any other source of funding, it is unlikely."


Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn - 3rd Beta Phase Starts June 14th

Square Enix has announced today, the third closed beta phase for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will start on June 14th. The third beta will finally allow PS3 players to play the game along side PC users and includes new locations like Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa.

Contra Evolution / EvolutionHD iOS Now Available Worldwide

In January 2013, Konami released Contra: Evolution for the Chinese App Store. Developed by PunchBox Studios, the game is a remake of the classic Konami side-scrolling shooter with vastly improved visuals and touchscreen controls. The only problem, it was only released in China, not anymore. Today, Konami released Contra: Evolution and Evolution HD worldwide today for $0.99 USD. Here's the official description:

The epic ACT game is back in high definition! "Contra: Evolution" will bring players back to the most traditional shooting game through the authentic stage and story of 1988 FC platform Contra. Not only can gamers play original heroes, but also two new female characters with different attacking style. Monster Hunter 4 for 3DS releases on September 14th in Japan for 5,990 yen.


Monster Hunter 4 - Japanese Release Date Set, New Limited Editions, Screenshots and Trailer (update)

Capcom announced Monster Hunter 4 is set to release on September 14th in Japan for 5,990 yen. Nintendo will also release limited edition Goa Magara Black and Airu White 3DS XL hardware bundles. Also confirmed, Monster Hunter 4 will have FREE online multiplayer.

















Vividred Operation: Hyper Intimate Power - New Trailer

Namco Bandai’s Vividred Operation video game has four playable characters Vivid Red, Vivid Blue, Vivid Gree, and Vivid Yellow. Players can fly through the world and fight Alones in the action part. Vividred Operation: Hyper Intimate Power follows the general plot of the anime series with a bonus episode made for the game. 

Vividred Operation: Hyper Intimate Power releases on June 20th 2013 in Japan.

Digimon World Re: Digitize Decode will launch on June 27th in Japan.

Digimon World Re: Digitize Decode for 3DS is an enhanced port of 2012's PSP original. The 3DS Digimon World adds a new character named Rina Shinomiya, two new story chapters, new systems, and new Digimons. 



Senran Kagura Burst Sells Over 100,000 Copies in Japan

 Senran Kagura series producer Kenichiro Takaki announced that, Senran Kagura Burst has managed to surpass 100,000 units sold, after launching last August in Japan.


Killer is Dead - Combat, Boss (Hamadayama) and Gigolo Mission Videos

Japanese fans will be able to buy the Premium Edition for the same price the normal edition this August 1st. The Killer is Dead premium edition includes: a reversible jacket, a DLC code for "Beauty & The Beast & The Lingerie," and 3 extra bonuses – the Temptation of Miss Vampire gigolo mission, an extra episode where Mondo is an executioner, and a peeping tool that helps during gigolo missions.

Killer is Dead for PS3 and Xbox 360 releases in North America and Europe this August. 





Final Fantasy X HD - 3 New Screenshots

Final Fantasy X HD and Final Fantasy X-2 HD is due for release this summer in North America and Europe. The PS3 version will be released on 1 Disc, while the PS Vita version will be released separately as Final Fantasy X HD Remaster and Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster. Final Fantasy X HD is currently 80% complete and X-2 HD is 65% complete.

- Abductors appear in the form of a dragon

- Abductors’ main purpose is to kidnap humans
- There are different types of Abductors: like the artificially developed Abductors created by the humans
- Thorn is one of the main weapons used against the Abductors, wrapped around the left arm of the criminals
- There are different kinds of Thorns, their abilities can change as they grow with character progression
